You are Perfect !

I just wanted to remind you that you are perfect, whole and complete just as you are in this moment.
Nothing on this planet can add to you, or take away from you. You are exactly where you need to be in this moment.

Our ego is continuously try to tell us that this moment is not OK, trying to create a scenario in our minds to tell us that the next moment will be better than this one. This is a lie. The ego wants us focused on the past or the future because that way it has control. It likes to make up or create stories to keep you out of the present.

This moment is as it is and it is perfect.
And so are you!

Focus on the Positive

Everything in the universe is made of energy. What differentiates one form of energy from another is the speed at which it vibrates. For example, light vibrates at a very high frequency, and something like a rock vibrates at a lower frequency.

Human beings also vibrate at different frequencies. Our thoughts and feelings determine the frequency at which we vibrate, and our vibration goes out into the world and attracts to us energy moving at a similar frequency. This is one of the ways that we create our own reality.

This is also why we can cause a positive shift in our lives by raising our vibration. We all know someone we think of as vibrant. Vibrant literally means “vibrating very rapidly.” The people who strike us as vibrant are vibrating at a high frequency, and they can inspire us as we work to raise our vibration.
On the other hand, we all know people that are very negative or cynical. These people are vibrating at a lower frequency. They can also be an inspiration because they can show us what we don’t want to become.

To discover where you are in terms of vibration, examine where you fall on a scale between the most pessimistic person you know and the most vibrant/positive. It is important to know where you are now so that you can choose what you want to become.

There are many ways to raise your vibration such as meditation, reiki, working with affirmations, reading inspirational material, and associating with enlightened people.
One powerful way to raise your vibration is to consciously choose where you focus your attention.
To see how powerful this is, take just 3 minutes to describe something you love - a person, a movie or an experience. When your 3 minutes are up, you will definitely feel more positive and lighter. Congratulations, you have just raised your vibration successfully.

How you are feeling is always the best indicator of how you are vibrating. If you want to keep raising your vibration, commit to spending five minutes every day focusing on the good in your life. As you do this, you will train yourself to be more awake and alive. Over time, you will experience a permanent shift in your vibrancy. You will become a totally different person. Guaranteed!

The greatest power

Feelings exist because of what we are thinking in our minds. If you find yourself feeling dis-empowered, check in with your thoughts and ask yourself, "Are the thoughts that I am thinking empowering or dis-empowering?"
When you are allow yourself to feel dis-empowered by your feelings, you create negative experiences in your life.

If you change your thoughts, you change your feelings. If your feelings change, your actions will too. And if your actions change, then the results change.
To change your external results, change your inner thoughts. Or in the words of the enlightened master called Buddha,” As you think, so you become.”

Thoughts lead to feelings. Feelings lead to actions. And actions lead to results.
Change your thoughts and you change your reality!
This is the greatest power you have. It really is that simple.

Be like Water

Water is a great teacher that shows us how to move through the world with grace, ease, determination, and humility.

The journey of water as it flows can be a mirror of our own paths through life. Water begins its life on earth as it falls from the sky or melts from ice and streams down a mountain into a tributary or stream.
In the same way, we come into the world and begin our lives on earth. Like a river that flows within the confines of its banks, we are born with certain defining characteristics that govern our identity. We are born in a specific time and place, within a specific family, and with certain gifts and challenges. Within these parameters, we move through life, encountering many twists, turns, and obstacles along the way just as a river flows.

Water inspires us to not become rigid with fear or cling to what’s familiar. Water is brave and does not waste time clinging to its past, but flows always forward without looking back.

At the same time, when there is a hole to be filled, water does not run away from it in fear of the dark; instead, water humbly and bravely fills the empty space. In the same way, we can face the dark moments of our life rather than run away from them. When a river breaks at a waterfall, it gains energy and moves on; as we encounter our own waterfalls (crisis), we may fall hard but we always keep moving on.

Eventually, a river will merge into the ocean. Water teaches us not to hold back from joining with a larger body; not to fear a loss of identity or control. It gracefully and humbly tumbles into the vastness by contributing its energy and merging without resistance. In its surrender, it gives up being a river and becomes the ocean. Each time we move beyond our individual egos to become part of something bigger, we too are emulating the surrender of the river.
Live like water, and you would have lived a life of mastery.

Enlightenment Mantras # 6

The Art of Evolution

Have you ever thought of how we grow? Do you worry about making mistakes before you undertake a new step/venture/effort?

Please consider the astronaut. If you are an astronaut, driving a rocket to the moon, you spend ninety percent of your time off course.
You get off track, you correct. You get off course, and again you correct - and eventually you hit your target.
If you quit moving forward, and constantly correcting, you miss the moon!

As in outer space ... so in innerspace!
To build a successful personal-growth practice, you have to keep taking action and keep correcting.
You take action, monitor your feedback - and continually correct. Eventually you succeed.

It's the same with any project and any relationship in your external world also. You get off track. You make adjustments.

Success doesn't travel in straight lines.
Mistakes are how we evolve.

Enlightenment Mantras # 5

Just for Today....
This is the way the Enlightened Masters tell us to live - Just for today.
Make your investments for the future, but remember to enjoy what you have today. Think and plan ahead, but live fully today. Have a great vision, but take action today. Because today is all you have.
When tomorrow comes, its today again. So if you've missed today, you've missed life itself.
One day at a time - this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone: and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come.
Live in the present, and no matter what it brings, make it the best that you can. So if tomorrow never comes, you are happy anyway.
Today is the greatest treasure. Today is all there is....do not waste it.

Worry is our own creation

We have all had the experience of worrying about something or someone at some point in our lives. Some of us seem to have a habitual tendency to worry, and almost all of us have known someone who is a chronic worrier.

Please understand this truth - in order for worry to exist, we have to imagine that something bad might happen. What we are worrying about has not happened yet, that’s why we can worry about it, and so this negative thing is by definition a fantasy. Seen this way, worry is a self-created state of needless fear.

One reason we worry is because we feel like we’re not in control. However, worrying does nothing to ensure a positive outcome and it has an unpleasant effect on your body, mind, and spirit.
The good news is that there are ways to transform this kind of worry so that it has a healing effect. Just as worry uses the imagination, so does the antidote to worry. Next time you find that you are worrying, imagine the best result instead of anticipating the worst outcome.

Another reason we worry is that something that we know is pending but are avoiding is nagging us—such as an unpleasant break-up, an upcoming test, a problem with a friend, or a family member. In these cases, acknowledge that you are worried and then take action for that is the best solution.
If you can confront the situation and utilize your power to change it, you’ll have no reason to worry.

Remember the instructions of the wise Dr Usui, "Just for today, do not worry".
I suggest you see all things in a positive light, do the best you can in any situation and leave the rest in the hands of the Universe.
Enough said.
