Meditation empowers you to eradicate stress!

It’s proven beyond doubt that the benefits of meditation include happiness, a calm mind, stress free living, regulated blood pressure, stable emotions, control of anger and freedom from anxiety, to name just a few.

Vikas shares some effective techniques from the wisdom of meditation to live an optimal life of happiness, inner peace and joy….

  • Eat life one bite at a time

Don’t be too concerned about how much there is to do, or how big the task seems.  Just get one thing done at a time, and repeat.  Do what’s in your power, and brush aside other concerns.
Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

  • Understand inter-connectedness

We are all part of an intricate interconnected web called Life. What you do is not separate from the world around you, and anything you do for the betterment of others eventually results in the same for you.
Make yourself happy, by making others’ lives better.

  • Release resentments and judgements

If you truly accept responsibility, you spontaneously release blame and resentments. Holding onto hurt or hatred over what others may have done in the past, makes you their slave in the ‘here and now.’

  •    Connect with silence regularly

In the midst of frantic activity and endless to-do lists, it’s easy to lose your happiness and peace of mind. Once this goes missing, nothing else will feel fulfilling.
Instead, regularly disconnect yourself from activity (including phones, emails and social media) and connect with silence within.
Be alone, be silent, and be still. Inspiration strikes then.

  • Do 10 pull-ups every morning

You can't become stress free if you spend time focusing on problems, what’s missing or what you should have done. Whatever happened, it's over now, and it’s time to move on.
So begin every morning by doing 10 pull-ups - consciously pulling yourself up towards happiness by counting 10 blessings that exist in your life already, and acknowledging the fact that you are in a better position than the majority of our world.
This one practiced will turn your life around.

Meditation Improves your Health

Meditation is beneficial from the moment you decide to take it up seriously.   It helps to relax the tension of the gross and subtle muscles and the autonomous nervous system.  It also provides freedom from mental stress.

A person in meditation attains a tranquil mind and this helps the body’s immune system by limiting its reaction to stress and strain.

Anyone can take up meditation.  It is a simple, systematic, logical, natural and effortless technique to still the mind and make us experience peace and tranquillity, leading us to our true inner selves.

Meditation helps us to live a life full of love, laughter, freedom and good health!

Don’t delay; meditate!

Meditation - My Daily Unbreakable Habit

All of us are creatures of habit. It was Aristotle who first said “we are what we repeatedly do” and this great secret has helped me to make my life what it is today. And now I want it to help you too.

Our intentions, wishes and desires are never as strong as the actions we take regularly. One of the greatest secrets of life and success you can learn is that habits are more transformational than wishes or desires.

Many years ago when I was introduced to the wisdom of meditation by my enlightened teachers, I quickly realized the benefits that would come to me if only I could make it a part of my day, every day.

I must admit that initially it was a challenge, but I stuck with it and refused to give up. Given time and a generous dose of discipline and will power, meditation began to entrench itself into my mindset and my daily living. I made it a point to remember the wisdom of meditation a few time a day in my mind, and I also began to practice certain techniques on a daily basis.

As time passed I began to see myself change. I became calmer, more stable, happier and more accepting – just some of the benefits that meditation brings. I began to see the truth of Aristotle’s words.

Today as a teacher of meditation I want you to know that there is nothing more important for a student than to make sure that meditation becomes a part of your daily habits.
Just fifteen minutes twice a day is enough to bring positive change into your life, just as brushing your teeth twice a day is enough to keep them clean and healthy.

Our habits make us, but we make our habits first - and this is the work we must do.
