Meditation with a Mantra

To help facilitate the process of meditation, people can choose to use a mantra.  Mantras are words, sounds, phrases or syllables of creative power that are repeated in order to aid concentration.

The repetition of a mantra is a means of improving focus and the power of concentration whilst meditating.

It can help both your body and your mind to relax and can allow you to forget about your worries and the causes of your stress. With a peaceful mind, meditation becomes easier.

Different kinds of mantras are used throughout the world, and all are good.  They all have a similar goal which is to help you focus your mind.

If you choose to take up a mantra you will very soon notice that all the qualities and attributes of the mantra will come to life within you.  The mantra literally comes a part of you and infuses you with its qualities.

The spiritual law of “as you think so you become” makes the practitioner literally become what the mantra is. So choose your mantra wisely, and get started on meditation.

Meditation Helps You Discover Yourself

Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation leads to ignorance. 
Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back and choose the path that leads to wisdom
                                                                        The Buddha

Meditation teaches you to observe.  For instance if you are miserable, just observe the misery as misery without feeling compelled to do anything about it.  In the fertile space of observing, the cause of misery becomes clear – it arises because you are reacting with negativity, craving or aversion. 

As you keep observing that sensation, it begins to lose its strength and passes away – and the negativity passes with it.

Meditation shows you why you feel the way you feel, how you have become what you are, and the repeated patterns of behaviour you are conditioned to operate under without awareness. 

The goal of meditation is not to achieve just another transitory ‘other-worldly’ experience but to accept whatever manifests itself with equanimity and ease, and then be able to change it.

SoulCentre wisdom spreads in Switzerland.

Goran started with me as a sincere student of meditation and has now become a wonderful teacher of this wisdom.
His life changed along his journey, and now he is helping others to change their life too (read below).

Dearest Vikas,

I have just completed my 9th ‘Meditation Made Simple’ class in Switzerland and my 14th ‘Meditation Made Simple’ class in total since I was certified by SoulCentre.

Tomorrow, I start a new ‘Meditation in Action’ class, and at the moment I also teach SHINE on Sunday mornings. SHINE was much in demand this year and I am grateful to be able to teach and share this wonderful wisdom with my students.

My one on one sessions have increased as well. My students want to see me in person and work on specific individual topics.

I’m looking forward to celebrate my 100th student this year :) with a few classes to go- ha ha.

I am sure even more Swiss students will attend and maybe you can visit us next year. Would be great that my students can see and hear my teacher in person.

2 of my students went to see Deepak Chopra in Basel last Saturday and later they asked me if he did MMS or SHINE in the past :) :)

I would like to end this by saying THANK YOU to YOU and SALLY for all your support and collaboration. I am truly blessed that you came into my LIFE.

Meditate to Make Your Life Better

One of the great truths of life is that - Your perspective creates your experience of reality.

Remember that whether something is an obstacle or an opportunity is up to you. Your mind-set dictates how you see life and everything in it. 
All input from the external world to you is filtered through your own set of beliefs and conditioning. This mind-set then elicits a response or a reaction from you.  Over time this process builds up the fabric of your life.

Meditation teaches you to take charge of your mind-set and gives you the tools to effectively evolve your perspective. 

When you evolve your mind, your life evolves too.
